Arts Infused Learning

Arts Infused learning is an approach to teaching in which students construct and demonstrate understanding through an art form.  Students engage in a creative process which connects an art form (in my case, sculpture) and another subject area to meet curriculum standards and evolving objectives in both. Working as a team with the classroom teacher and other participants, as the Resident Teaching Artist  I supply the arts component.
